MCP server
These docs are also an MCP server at https://nuxter.app/mcp. Connect your
coding agent to it, and the agent searches these pages and their design notes
and reads the part it needs, instead of guessing from what it was trained on.
It is public and read-only: no account, no key.
Connect
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http nuxter https://nuxter.app/mcp
Cursor, in .cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"nuxter": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://nuxter.app/mcp"
}
}
}
VS Code, in .vscode/mcp.json:
{
"servers": {
"nuxter": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://nuxter.app/mcp"
}
}
}
Any other client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP takes the same URL.
Tools
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
search-docs | Finds the sections that match a query, with the page URL or note topic to read next. |
list-docs-pages | Lists every page by group, and every design note. |
get-docs-page | Reads a page, or one section of it, as markdown. |
get-design-note | Reads the design note behind a page: why that part works the way it does. |
A long page or note comes back as an outline of its sections, and the agent then asks for the one it needs.
Which version it describes
The docs follow the kit's main branch. If your app has not taken the latest
update (Updating from the kit), a page may describe something
your copy does not have yet. Your code is the source of truth for what it has.
